Abstract Submission

Q1. Can I submit more than one project?: Yes. Participants may submit more than one project. A separate abstract submission and registration are required for each project.
Q2. Can I present research that has already been presented at another competition or conference?: Yes. Research previously presented at other competitions, exhibitions, or conferences may be submitted to the iMEDEV NextGen Science Forum 2026. However, participants are responsible for ensuring that their submission does not violate any publication, copyright, intellectual property, or exclusivity requirements of other events or organizations.
Q3. Can I submit an abstract if my research has not yet been completed?: Yes. Ongoing research may be submitted. The abstract should clearly describe the objectives, methodology, available preliminary results, and expected outcomes. Participants may present updated results at the Forum.
Q4. Do I need a teacher or research advisor to participate?: Participants are encouraged to have a teacher, advisor, or mentor. If a formal research advisor is unavailable, an appropriate teacher or guardian may be listed as the mentor, particularly for high school participants.
Q5. Is there a fee for submitting an abstract?: There is no fee for abstract submission. Registration fees are required only after the abstract has been accepted and the participant confirms participation in the iMEDEV NextGen Science Forum 2026.
Q6. My research has progressed since I submitted my abstract. Can I present the updated results?: Yes. Participants are encouraged to present their most recent findings. The presentation may include additional data, updated results, or further developments obtained after the original abstract submission.

Presentation & Participation

Q7. Who can participate in the iMEDEV NextGen Science Forum 2026?: Participants may join the Forum under one of the following categories: (1) Presenter — high school and undergraduate students who present their research, projects, or innovations through an Oral or Poster Presentation; (2) Attendee / Accompanying Person — parents, guardians, teachers, advisors, friends, or other accompanying persons who wish to attend the Forum without presenting a project.
Q8. What presentation formats are available?: Accepted participants may present their work through an Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation, according to the presentation format confirmed by the organizing committee.
Q9. How many students can present one project?: The standard Student Presenter registration covers 1–2 presenters per project. Up to three additional presenters may be registered, allowing a maximum of five presenters per project. Additional presenter fees apply to the 3rd–5th presenters.

Registration & Event

Q10. What does the Student Presenter registration fee include?: The registration fee includes admission to the iMEDEV NextGen Science Forum 2026, participation in an Oral or Poster Presentation, access to keynote lectures and scientific sessions, eligibility for awards and recognition, coffee break, certificate of presentation, networking activities, access to the exhibition and innovation showcase, and a conference souvenir/gift.
Q11. When does abstract submission and registration open?: Abstract submission and registration will open on 15th August 2026.
Q12. What is the deadline for abstract submission?: The abstract submission deadline is 15th September 2026.
Q13. When will I be notified of abstract acceptance?: Notification of abstract acceptance will be announced on 17th September 2026.
Q14. What is the Early Bird registration deadline?: The Early Bird registration and payment deadline is 20th September 2026.
Q15. What is the Regular registration and payment deadline?: The Regular registration and payment deadline is 30th September 2026.
Q16. Do I need to register after my abstract is accepted?: Yes. Presenters whose abstracts are accepted must complete their registration and payment by either the Early Bird or Regular Registration deadline to confirm their participation.
Q17. Can an accompanying person attend the Forum?: Yes. Parents, guardians, teachers, advisors, friends, and other accompanying persons may attend by registering under the Attendee / Accompanying Person category. They are not required to submit an abstract.
Q18. Is lunch included in the registration fee?: No. International Buffet Lunch is optional and charged separately at 950 THB/person (hotel rate).
Q19. When and where will the iMEDEV NextGen Science Forum 2026 be held?: The Forum will be held on 15th October 2026 at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok, Thailand.
Q20. Can I cancel my registration and receive a refund?: Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been completed. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy for further details.
